Located at 15205 Collier Blvd., Suite 106-245, Naples, FL 34119, the Veterans History Museum offers many compelling stories of our country’s veterans through military artifacts from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, and the Korean, Vietnam, and Gulf wars.
Previously housed at the Naples Airport—which was originally built by the Army Corps of Engineers during WWII to train pilots for the Pacific theater—the museum continues its mission of honoring service members through rich historical displays and firsthand accounts.
At the museum, visitors can explore more than 6,000 historical artifacts dating from 1775 to the present. Artifacts such as printed materials (letters, books, drawings and posters), weapons, uniforms, medals, ribbons and models have been generously donated by veterans and
their families.
Just recently, the Museum announced that it will not only include military artifacts, but it will also now collect and display 1st responder artifacts and history, including law enforcement, fire rescue and medical 1st responders.
