Privacy policy
The Veterans History Museum collects only the information you choose to send us, and never sells, rents or trades it.
What we collect
When you send a message through our contact form, we receive your name, the email address or phone number you give, and your message, through Web3Forms, a form delivery service. We use it only to reply to you.
Email newsletter
If you sign up for museum news, your email address is added to the museum’s email newsletter list, and we also receive it through Web3Forms, a form delivery service. We use it only to send museum news and never share it. To be removed from the list, email veteranshistorymuseum@gmail.com.
Donations
Card donations are handled by a payment processor, so the museum does not see or store your full card number.
Cookies and maps
This website does not use advertising cookies and does not require an account. The maps on our home and Plan your visit pages come from Google Maps. When a map loads, Google may set its own cookies, and Google’s privacy policy applies. The news video on our home page is hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play, and the player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone outside the Veterans History Museum.
Links to other sites
This website links to other sites, such as maps, social media and visitor guides. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their privacy statements.
Correcting your information
To correct, update or remove information you sent us, contact us at veteranshistorymuseum@gmail.com.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
